Bosnia – The Unbranded Country: A Discussion in the Bundestag

Past Event Date of Event: December 17, 2025 German Bundestag, Berlin

Inside Economies Europe marked its first major milestone with an invitation-only business and institutional event held at the German Bundestag in Berlin.

The event was held under the patronage of Adis Ahmetović, Member of the German Bundestag, and organized in cooperation with the Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Germany.

MEAA Business Consulting, a Berlin-based consulting company that initiated and developed the Inside Economies Europe platform organised the event. The initiative reflects MEAA’s broader work in building bridges between business ecosystems, institutions, investors, and decision-makers across Europe.

Under the theme “Bosnia – The Unbranded Country”, the event opened a different conversation about Bosnia and Herzegovina — one that went beyond the usual political narratives and focused on business potential, talent, entrepreneurship, investment opportunities, media perception, and the need for a more concrete and positive international positioning of the country.
Among the participants and speakers were Adis Ahmetović, Member of the German Bundestag and patron of the event, Zada Salihović, Member of the German Bundestag, Damir Arnaut, Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to Germany, influential representatives from the business community, and former professional footballer Vedad Ibišević.

The program was moderated by well-known journalist Sanja Bagarić-Arnaut, while the main guest of the event was the Editor-in-Chief of Klix.ba.

As the main guest, Mr. Hambo brought a fresh and highly relevant media perspective to the discussion. As one of the most influential journalists in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region, he offered insights from someone who closely understands the country’s key actors, challenges, public debates, and positive stories. His contribution helped shape a more concrete and balanced conversation about Bosnia and Herzegovina – one that recognized the country’s complexity, but also its talent, business potential, and underrepresented success stories.
